The Heart of Italian Gelato Production

Empoli

The largest Sammontana Italia facility and one of Europe’s largest gelato production sites. It features state-of-the-art technology, including a next-generation cone production line and a fully robotic tub line. The facility is equipped with a trigeneration plant and a photovoltaic system for renewable energy production.

Automated Ambient Warehouse: 3,000 m² with 5,000 pallet spaces, connected to the facility via a covered bridge.

This facility boasts advanced production capabilities, including three lines for frozen pastry and eight for gelato, with a new line exclusively for Gruvi stick products. A trigeneration plant supports its operations.
